Surrey Law Society Quiz Winners For 2021!

Last night was hugely eventful for the Legal Brain of Surrey Quiz attendees, which took place in the lovely Weyside Pub, Guildford. The teams showed what they were made of during ten rounds of General Knowledge in the effort to win the Mike Coverley Challenge Cup and be crowned Surrey Law Society Quiz Champions 2021.

James Gordon, Mike Slade, Paul Richardson, Will Johnson and Justin Reed were appointed to represent Gordons in the Quiz against nine other teams and were crowned Surrey Law Society Quiz Champions 2021!

It was a very close call, tensions rising to new heights with teams marking their neighbours’ answers, and the Gordons team were right next to their main rivals!  In the end, Gordons won by three points with 99! The runners-up were from Quality Solicitors Palmers and TWM Solicitors LLP.

We would like to thank the Quiz Master, Kieran Bowe, for running such an enjoyable event, ensuring that things ran smoothly without eliminating the competitive ethos of the night. We would also like to thank the SLS Vice President, Madeleine Beresford, for gracefully presenting us with our trophy!
